What is Household Daily Tasks?
Household Daily Tasks is a funded support under NDIS Core Supports — Assistance With Daily Life. It covers practical help with the domestic tasks that keep a home running safely. The support is shaped entirely by what the participant needs. Our approach is always about building independence where possible. We support, not substitute.
What's included?
- ✓General household cleaning including bathrooms, kitchens and living areas
- ✓Laundry, washing, drying, folding and ironing
- ✓Dishwashing and kitchen hygiene
- ✓Grocery shopping and meal preparation support
- ✓Garden maintenance and outdoor area upkeep
- ✓Minor home maintenance and safety checks
- ✓Bed making and linen changing
- ✓Culturally appropriate meal preparation respecting dietary needs and food practices
Who is eligible?
- →NDIS participants with Assistance with Daily Life (Core) funding
- →Participants who need help maintaining their home environment
- →Self-managed, plan-managed, and NDIA-managed plans welcome
- →Participants across Australia
